Iran to send astronomer to space in 2024

TEHRAN (ISNA)- An official in Iran's Aerospace Research Institute announced the country plans to launch the first generation of explorer equipped with a special capsule for carrying astronomer to suborbital flight in four years, Mohammad Ebrahimi said.
"If we can send 2-toned satellites to geo-orbit by next 12 years, we can be able to send 2-toned aerospace to space carrying astronomer as well," he added.

Ebrahimi added Iran will be able to produce appropriate capsule with highsafety and large dimensions equipped with emergency escape system to send astronomer to space to suborbital flight in next 3-4 years.
