Reports on burning Iranian truck in Turkey denied

Ankara, Dec 9, IRNA Spokesman for the Iranian Consulate-General in Erzurum in Turkey on Monday denied news by some Turkish media about setting afire of another Iranian truck by unknown men in a town near the Iranian borders.
According to some Turkish media sources, an Iranian trailer was set ablaze with petrol by unknown men in a parking lot in the city of Dogubeyazit located in the most eastern part of Turkey opposite to the Iranian border of Bazargan.


The sources added the truck?s cargo was also damaged and that police investigations are still underway about the incident.

Rejecting reports of the Turkish sources, the Iranian diplomat said, ?The numberplate of the trailer reproted by the Turkish news sources is not Iranian.?

He added Iran?s Consulate-Gereral has not received any reports on the occassion yet.
