Lebanese politician reiterates influence of Iran-G5+1 deal on regional developments
TEHRAN (FNA)- A former Lebanese minister underlined that Irans recent successful diplomacy in Geneva will play an important role in regional developments, specially in Lebanon.


This agreement will leave positive effect on Lebanon and the entire region, Karim Baqradouni told FNA on Tuesday.

The agreement will influence the all regional countries, including Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, he said.

Baqradouni, also a former head of Lebanons Al-Kataeb Party, reiterated that the most important achievement gained through the agreement between Iran and the Group 5+1 is recognition of Irans right to access civilian nuclear technology.

The issue of Irans atomic program has two technical and political dimensions and it plays a determining role in the regional developments, specially due to the fact that Iran plays an important role in the region and its developments, including the Geneva II conference on Syria, he said.

On Sunday, Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) reached a final deal after days of hard work and intensive negotiations.

After endorsing the agreement with the world powers, Zarif underlined that the six world powers have recognized Irans enrichment program.

Speaking at a press conference in Geneva on Sunday morning, the Iranian foreign minister pointed to the agreement reached between Iran and the G5+1, and said, Todays agreement deals with several sectors, the most important of which is that Irans enrichment program has been recognized, and this program will continue.
