Iran has presented various programs for children during a cultural week held in the Russian capital city, Moscow,Press TVhas reported.
Organized by the Cultural Attach at the Iranian Embassy in Moscow, the event kicked off during an opening ceremony held on November 23, 2013.
The young Iranian author of dozens of books, Melika Goli, was a special guest at the opening ceremony in Moscow.
Drawing, listening to Persian music, Reading of Persian fairytales and poetry are some of the programs offered at the event.
The displayed books have been presented by Irans Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA).
Both Russian and Iranian children along with their parents can attend several exhibitions at the State Library for Children.
The Week also hosts several workshops focused on strengthening children's imagination and creativity.
While the event seeks to bring Russian and Iranian youngsters closer together, hundreds of young visitors and their parents have flocked to the festival so far to get familiar with Persian culture.
According to an earlier agreement, two countries established several cultural bridges such as cooperation of Russian State Library and Irans National Library and Archives.
