Ankara, Nov 13, IRNA Chief of Iran Consulate in Istanbul Mohsen Mortezaiefar on Wednesday offered Archbishop of Istanbul Orthodox Church Bartomiej a letter in which Irans presidential official thanked him for his congratulation message on President Hassan Rouhanis landslide victory in the June election.Bartomiej in the meeting thanked Iran for observing rights of religious minorities, especially followers of the Orthodox Church in fulfilling their religious rituals, appreciating Iran policies.
The message terms Iranians a civilized, hospitable and warm nation.
Mortezaiefar in turn said Irans respect for religious minorities right stems from its rich civilization and Islam.
