Iran, Germany favor Lebanon stability

Beirut, Nov 13, IRNA – Iranian and Germany ambassadors in Lebanon on Wednesday discussed the need for stability and stability in Lebanon under special regional conditions.

Iran’s Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi and the German Ambassador to Lebanon Christian Clages in the meeting also talked about regional developments, especially Syria, and its impacts on Lebanon.

German diplomat underlined avoiding military solution to settle regional crises saying a political solution should be soon found for Syria crisis.

Roknabadi in turn said Iran’s fixed and principled stances are in favor of people’s role in deciding political fate of their countries. He said Iran also supports majority vote in free elections, negating foreign interference in countries’ internal affairs.

He said foreign support for Takfiri groups in Syria is a big danger in the region, saying the supports are necessary precondition for access to political solution to the crisis.
