Sanctions on Islamic states in contravention of UN laws, minister

Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA – Minister of industry, mine and trade here Monday criticized unfair sanctions imposed on the Islamic countries, saying they are in violation of the UN regulations.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the 14th Trade Fair of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh stressed that the sanctions are against trade laws.

Nematzadeh said the unjust restrictions have created a gap in trade exchanges between the Islamic countries.

He called for joint investment of OIC members.

The 14th OIC Trade Fair started work here Monday morning with participation of over 32 member countries.
