TEHRAN (ISNA)- A member of Iranian nuclear negotiating team Majid Takht Ravanchisaid the new Iranian government will practice its tension-removing policy on different countries and the US."The tension-removing policy of the new government includes the US as well. We do not want increase in US-Iran tensions, but we want reduction of the tensions," he told ISNA, adding the route which is to be taken by both sides depends on the US approach.
Elsewhere, regarding Iran-UK relations and appointment of new charge d'affaires, he said, the two countries are trying to exchange official notes on appointing non-residential charge d'affaires in 10 days.
He added that Iran and the UK embassies would reopen.
Meantime, regarding release of 12 billion dollars of Iranian assets, he said, "We do not want any condition for release of the assets. It is not acceptable."
He further added Iran would review and investigate any possible proposal on the release of the blocked assets.
