Iranian scholar terms Geneva talks as positive

Vienna, Oct 19, IRNA An Iranian scholar in Switzerland has described as very much positive the talks between Iran and the P5+1 in Geneva which ended on October 16.
Speaking to the International Service of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (Swissinfo), Mohammad-Reza jalili, professor emeritus at the Graduate Institute in Geneva anticipated Iran and the Group 5+1 would reach new agreements in the forthcoming weeks.

At the end of the their two-day talks in Geneva on October 16, representatives of Iran and the sextet - the US, Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany - agreed to continue their negotiations in early November.

Professor Jalili expressed hope that the new round of talks between the two sides would lead to concrete results.

Referring to Iran as one of the most stable countries in the Middle East region, he said positive trend of talks bwtween Iran and Group 5+1 could positively affect regional developments, particularly the situation in Syria.
