Beijing, Oct 17, IRNA – Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said Geneva talks created a new opportunity for settlement of Irans nuclear issue through political negotiations.
Addressing her daily press briefing, the Chinese official reiterated that Beijing peruses settlement of Irans nuclear issue actively.
The fourth round of talks between Iran and Group 5+1 headed by Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton respectively was held in Geneva on Wednesday afternoon.
Zarif called Geneva talks useful, adding that new members will be added to Iranian delegation to discuss sanctions and nuclear affairs.
