Iranian researchers produce biogas from plants

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian researchers have managed to design a system for biogas production from plants.

Two-current continuous cultivation system is used to simulate anaerobic ecosystems which prevents oxygen penetration into cultivation environment and microorganism environment and paves the way for their cultivation.

The system is equipped with two reservoirs and an entry for solid and liquid phase. The cultivation environment is located inside the system reservoir and cultivates the required bacteria through temperature control.

The Iranian researchers have also managed to find special oil in plants stimulating bacteria growth using two-current continuous cultivation.
