Tehran, Sept 4, IRNA Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Minoo Kianirad said on Wednesday that national economy registered dlrs 200 billion turnover despite the arbitrary sanctions.
Addressing the Islamic Banking Seminar, Kianirad said the CBI, however, made a great deal of efforts to foil effects of the sanctions.
She said that the sanction on Central Bank of Iran has been violation of international law and human rights of Iranian population by affecting transfer of money and cargo and enjoying insurance services.
Kianirad said in the meantime that the Central Bank of Iran is responsible for providing the business sector by opening up Letters of Credit and insurance services to thwart impacts of the unlawful sanctions imposed by the United States.
She said that under suction conditions, more credits are usually channeled to the producing sector, which is inflationary and encourages liquidity growth.
