TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani reiterated that his proposed Intelligence Minister is a moderate figure who is fully aware of intelligence-related issues.
"Dr. Alavi is a known figure. He is moderate," Rouhani said, defending his nominee for Intelligence Ministry, Mahmoud Alavi.

He added Alavi is fully aware of Iran's rules and regulations, reiterating that Alavi has always acted moderately and rationally.

"He has been known for moderation and having precise views," Rouhani said, adding, "He had been fully aware of security and its sensitivities. God willing he will do well in this post."
