Fayed Mustafa said that the initiative made by late Imam Khomeini, the father of the Islamic Revolution of Iran to name the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan as International Qods Day revived the issue of Palestine.
Beit al-Moqaddas is a very important city for both the Muslim and Jewish people, he said. But Israel attempted to marginalize the Muslims by building Jewish settlements in the city.
He condemned human rights violations systematically perpetrated by Tel Aviv regim against Palestinians, the real owners of the Palestinian territories in contravention of the international law and regulations, saying Eastern Beit al-Moqaddas has actually turned into a big Israeli prison.
He stressed that resistance should continue until an independent Palestinian government is formed in the occupied lands.
