Muslim graves desecrated with racist graffiti in Wales
Four Muslim graves have been desecrated with racist graffiti in a cemetery in Wales in the latest anti-Muslim incident in Britain following the murder of British soldier Lee Rigby back in May.
The vandals left statements on the grave on the White Power with slogans for the far-right British National Party, the UK Independence Party and the National Front also placed on the graves in the Christchurch cemetery in the Newport area of Wales.

Some of the graves were also spray-painted with swastikas, further stressing the growing wave of anti-Muslim hatred in Britain after Lee Rigbys murder in Woolwich, southeast of London.

One of the gravestones was even scrawled with words Kill the Muslims, Pakis.

This is the second desecration of a Muslim gravesite over the past month after a single Muslim grave in Lancashire was attacked.

The Rigby murder has unleashed a wave of anti-Muslim hatred mainly by far-right groups such as the English Defense League (EDL).

Meanwhile, at least two mosques have been set on fire while 11 others have been targeted by far-right vandals desecrating them with graffiti such as swastikas and the letters EDL [English Defense League], KKK [the Ku Klux Klan], and NF [The National Front].

The Islamophobic attacks have also targeted Muslims themselves including three men who were stabbed at a mosque in Birmingham on June 15.

Figures from the police and Tel Mama project, which measures anti Muslim attacks, show the number of hate incidents against Muslims and Islamic centers has risen at least 8-fold since the Woolwich incident on May 21.
