GCC accuses Iran of interference in Yemen

SANAA, June 8 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretary General Abdulatif Al-Zayani has condemned the Iranian interference in Yemen, calling for the respect of the choices and aspirations of the Yemeni people.
Al-Zayani, during a meeting with Yemeni President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi in Sanaa Saturday, said aspirations of the Yemeni people should be respected as he condemndd the Iranian interference in the Yemeni affairs.

He underlined the Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) support for Yemen until the completion of the transitional phase through which the Yemeni people would be able to stand on their feet again, an official statement by the president's office said.

Hadi, for his part, said Yemen has started recovering from its crisis.
