Ali Larijani has been reappointed as the speaker of Iranian Parliament. Some 213 out of 252 members of the parliament voted in favor of him.
According to Mehr news agency, Larijani became the parliament speaker for next four years with 213 votes in favor, 13 against and 26 abstentions.

Larijane replaced Gholam-Ali Haddad Adeh in this post six years ago.

Haddad Adel now is competing with 7 other rivals for upcoming presidential race.

Iran's presidential elections will be held on June 14.
