Haddad-Adel: Being a woman not a burden to progress
According to ISNA, Iranian presidential candidate Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel says Islamic Republic of Iran has provided women with opportunities in different fields, stressing that being a woman is not a burden to progress in the country.
At a meeting with lawmakers in Tehran, the principlist candidate said that if he is elected president, his administration will stay away from those who have distanced themselves from the country's leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Entekhab website reported.
Presidential candidate Rezaei unveils plans
The candidate for upcoming presidential elections in Iran, Mohsen Rezaei, has unveiled the main plans of his campaign platform for the upcoming election.
The independent candidate said that his future administration will turn the southern province of Hormuzgan into a special economic zone, the ISNA News Agency reported.
Addressing a press conference this morning, Velayati said that he, together with Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and Lawmaker Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel, have agreed to support any one of the three candidates who will emerge the winner.
