Photos: Iran’s Ahmadinejad inaugurates first MEK production plant in Middle East

The Islamic Republic of Iran has launched the Middle East’s first MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) production plant in the country’s southwestern Khuzestan Province.
The petrochemical project, with an annual output capacity of 20,000 tons, came on stream Monday in Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Economic Zone in a ceremony attended by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
