IranianPresident Mahmoud Ahmadinejad received visiting Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem in Tehran Saturday evening, stressing that national dialogue is the sole solution to the crisis in Syria.Ahmadinejad said that violence and interference in Syria should end and the two sides should reach an understanding by dialogue, highlighting that this is the only humanitarian and wise solution which is hoped to take place as soon as possible.
He expressed hope that security and stability would return to Syria, so that people can start rebuilding operation and normal life.
Walid al-Moalem presented a report on the latest developments in Syria and said that the country is facing a wide global conspiracy led by the United States of America and the Zionist regime.
