PESHAWAR: An Iranian diplomat Thursday called for reviving the students exchange programme to cement the academic links between the two brotherly Islamic countries.
The emphasis was laid by Syed Muhammad Zakiri, Director General of the Iranian Cultural Centre Peshawar at a meeting with the University of Peshawar Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan.

The visiting dignitary informed the vice-chancellor about the MoU signed between the Shiraz University and UoP for students and teachers exchange. He said he had already discussed the prospects of boosting academic exchanges with University of Peshawar with the foreign minister of Iran recently, which he accepted for perusal.
