ISLAMABAD, Dec 3 (APP): Advisor to the Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr. Asim Hussain called on the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday.
They discussed bilateral relations including Pak-Iran gas pipe line project during the meeting, said a message received here.The President of Iran expressed satisfaction over the progress in the construction of Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline. He also expressed his determination to work for the further strengthening of relations between the two countries in all fields to the mutual benefit of the two countries.Dr. Asim Hussain conveyed his gratitude to President Ahmadinejad for his constructive role in promoting ties between the two countries. He assured that Pakistan was committed to completion of the IP gas pipeline project within the stipulated time.
