IRNA � US indifference towards the international obligations is unacceptable, Iranian deputy foreign minister for political affairs said.

'US governing board's hostile and unlawful measures and neglecting multilateralism and international obligations is unacceptable,' Abbas Araqchi said in a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on Wednesday.

The official underlined Iran's commitment to defend its rights, and stressed continuation of consultations between Iran and Russia.

In the meantime, Ryabkov, for his part, lauded Iran's compliance with the Joint comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) reached between Iran and G5+1 (the US, the UK, Russia, China and France plus Germany).

'No country should be allowed to sabotage the accepted international and diplomatic rules through misinterpretation,' he noted.
