Top Iranian officials congratulates collapse of Daesh in Syria, Iraq

Nov 23, The Iran Project – Commander of Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Qasem Soleimani in a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Monday (Nov 20)declared the annihilation of Daesh in both Iraq and Syria, saying all the crimes of Daesh have been schemed and conducted by the US leaders and the US-affiliated organizations.

“The resilience of the Iraqi and Syrian governments, armies, youths, especially the holy Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), and youths from other countries, alongside the strong and pivotal presence of Hezbollah, led by honorable Hassan Nasrallah, had a decisive role in driving the perilous incident to the abyss of defeat,” the letter reads.

“With the liberation of Abu-Kamal having been completed, the US-Zionist Daesh’s flag having been lowered and Syrian flag having been raised, as Your Excellency’s assigned soldier in the battlefield, I announce the termination of the dominance of the corrupt cursed tree [of Daesh],” Major General Soleimani added.

Meanwhile, Supreme Leader in  response to a letter by Soleimani in which announced termination of the “corrupt tree of Daesh”, congratulated the collapse of Daesh (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria and cautioned against the post-Daesh conspiracies.

“Smashing the cancerous and fatal tumor, you have not only served greatly the regional states and the entire World of Islam, but you have also served all nations and humanity,” the Leader said in his message to Major General Soleimani.

In another development, President Hassan Rouhani has lauded the defeat of the Daesh terror group in Iraq and Syria, thanking all the nations and forces who pooled their resources to crush the remnants of the Takfiri outfit in the two neighboring countries.

The extremist groups, Rouhani added, “have brought nothing but misery, destruction, massacre and barbarism” to the region.

The Iran chief executive lashed out at “global powers and certain reactionary states in the region” for funding and arming the Takfiri terrorist group.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry said the achievement demonstrated, once again, that terrorism and its sponsors are “doomed to failure.”
