In the meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed pleasure Quran has become so popular in Iran and that the public is acquainted to Quran, from kids to the elder people, while it was not so before Revolution.
He dubbed the growth of culture of Quran in the country as art of Revolution and the Islamic Establishment, and yet stressed that we are still at the beginning of the route and gatherings to recite Quran must lead to more acquaintance with Quran and compatibility of mindsets with Quran.
Leader of Islamic Revolution emphasized that Quran can guide human beings toward correct answers to main questions in life and highlighted that wrong, deviated answers to such questions were the reason behind all problems and perversion of human being in world of today.
God has created human beings to be in communication with and kind to each other and help one another, but nowadays we can see everywhere is filled with war, insecurity, fear and perversion, he asserted and described Quran as the way to get rid of problems.
Unfortunately, Islamic world is also suffering from such problems, too, and some mean, incompetent and inferior people like Saudi government have seized fate of part of Islamic Ummah. These people seem to believe in Quran, and they even print and freely distribute millions of copies of Quran, but in practice, they act in contrast to Quran; they are intimate with infidels and assets of their nations which must be used to bring welfare to their people, are offered to enemies of people, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed.
Leader of Revolution slammed the reactionary countries in region who imagine they can buy intimacy of enemies of Islam by money, while there is no intimacy and as Americans said themselves, they take their own advantages and discard them.
Referring to promise of Quran, Ayatollah Khamenei asserted that anti-religious acts against Muslims in Bahrain and Yemen were doomed to failure as Quran has vowed that falsehood is bound to vanish. Quran highlights that if you have faith, you will be superior; you must be strong, explicit and steadfast in your faith and I believe that all the people and officials, should be explicit in expressing Islamic values. Expansion of international relations has no contradiction with explicitness in basics of Islam and we must step on the way and rely upon God.
