SANA- An army unit carried out intensive�bombardments against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in�Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa southern province,�inflicting heavy losses upon them in the personnel�and equipment.

A military source told SANA that an army unit�killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and�destroyed a number of their positions that are�fortified with machineguns and sniper rifles on al-Sad Road, to the south of Khazan al-Karak and to�the east of al-Masri Roundabout and the Bakery�alley in Daraa al-Balad.

Army units engaged in clashes with ISIS-affiliated terrorist groups �after they inflitrated from the direction of Futhat al-Mahsa,�Thanyiat al-Mzaibleh and al-Qaryatain Dam into the area surrounding the military posts in the area.

A number of terrorists were killed in the clashes and others were injured and their arms and ammunition were destroyed.
