IRNA � Russian President's Special Envoy for Syrian Affairs Alexander Lavrentiev is to arrive in Tehran on Sunday and hold talks with Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani.


Aim of his talks with Shamkhani is consultation on Syrian crisis developments after Astana Meeting and discussion on joint political and security initiatives.

Lavrentiev is to convey viewpoints of Russian President Vladimir Putin concerning regional current developments and necessities in the field of all-out cooperation to fight against terrorism and ending the Syrian crisis.
