TEHRAN (Tasnim) � Oman Air said it will establish a direct flight route to Iran�s northeastern holy city of Mashhad in the near future.





�Oman Air will be adding another destination in Iran, happy to be flying to Mashhad soon,� the Omani airline announced in a post published on its Twitter account on Sunday, Times of Oman reported.

Oman Air had recently added a second daily flight to Tehran following a lasting nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers.

Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) on July 14, 2015 reached a conclusion over the text of a comprehensive 159-page deal on Tehran�s nuclear program and started implementing it on January 16.

The comprehensive nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), has terminated all the nuclear-related sanctions imposed on Iran.
