TEHRAN, Feb. 08 (Shana) -- The value of physical transactions in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) has jumped 47 percent in the second week of the month of Bahman, 11th month in Iranian calendar.

During the week, more than 617,627 tons of goods valued at over IRR6,272b were traded indicating a 52% growth in comparison to the previous week.

On the second week of Bahman, 280,892 tons of goods valued at 2,913 billion rials were traded in the domestic and export floors of the market.

162,922 tons of steel, 110,000 tons of ironstone, 7, 170 tons of copper and 660 tons of aluminum were traded in the market during the week.

Petroleum and petrochemical transactions included trading of 335, 260 tons of goods valued at IRR327b.
