Zanganeh: Iran ready to export oil to Mongolia
Tehran, Dec 24, IRNA - Minister of Oil Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said on Thursday that in case Mongolia reaches agreement with China, the Islamic Republic of Iran will be ready to export oil to Mongolia through Chinese companies.

Zanganeh made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Mongolian Foreign Minister Lundeg Purevsuren.

In the meeting, the Mongolian foreign minister called for expansion and deepening of relations and cooperation with Iran on oil trade.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to set up short-term training courses for Mongolian workforce in oil related industries, Zanganeh said.

Mongolia is eager to purchase oil from Iran, he said adding that since they have no access to sea, the only option is to be delivered through Chinese companies.

Mongolia with the population of 2,750,000 is customer of 50,000 to 60,000 bpd crude oil which is a very small market for Iran, he said.
