Nasrallah: JCPOA to open doors for Iran

Beirut, Oct 7, IRNA Lebanese Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said that the Iran nuclear deal P5+1, which led to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), will open new doors for Iran.

In an interview with the Lebanese newspaper al-Akhbar on Wednesday, he said despite Israeli efforts to prevent a nuclear deal between Iran and the P5+1, the agreement will provide new opportunities to Iran soon.

He stated that in fact it was the Saudis who fought against the Hizbullah forces in the summer of 2006, and stressed that the Saudi regime is responsible for any kind of murder and massacre in the region.

The hizbullah leader also blamed Saudis for the death of thousands of Hajj pilgrims who lost their lives in Mina.

He said what happened in Mina revealed the non-human nature and Daesh-like attitudes of Saudi officials who deliberately left the wounded pilgrims unaided in very harsh conditions and refused to help them.

He said the Saudis embarked on moving the bodies of injured pilgrims into containers using bulldozers without differentiating between the dead, the wounded or the ones who were still alive.

The Hizbullah leader said why Saudi officials should block one of the entrances into Jamarat area despite knowing the pilgrims belonging to a certain country use a specific route to reach there.

Had it not been for Iran who raised its voice on the incident, he stressed, the Saudis would have quietly buried the victims or arrested anyone they wished.

He further referred to Wahhabism as a major menace threatening the whole region and stressed the need for enhancing Islamic solidarity.
