Shamkhani: Political insider dialogue ‘sole path to stability’ in Yemen
TEHRAN, Oct. 06 (MNA) – The SNSC secretary has told in a meeting with Supreme Revolutionary Council of Yemen foreign intervention would considerably further internal stability in Yemen.

Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani received members of Yemeni Supreme Revolutionary Council Tuesday morning to discuss Saudi Arabia’s crimes in the crisis-stricken country, Iran’s state TV broadcaster IRIB report said.

“Targeting hospitals and civilian centers along with killing of women and children and cruel and inhumane siege on the country are the most representative examples of crime against humanity and should be severely criticized by the collective conscience of the world people as well as international organizations,” Shamkhani emphasized, denouncing the mainstream media of the imperialist world which ‘violates the principles of unbiased reporting and professional codes of conduct on depiction of Saudi crimes in Yemen'. “Saudis' use of chemical and poisonous and biological agents in air strikes on civilian centers aims solely at breaking the resistance of Yemen’s people and mass extermination of the Yemenis,” Shamkhani told the Yemeni delegation.

He reminded Saudi officials indirectly of Saddam Hussein’s debacle in his misguided campaign against Islamic Republic of Iran in noting that the ultimate result of the Baath party should provide those countries, who sought to impose their resolve through getting hand on weapons, with a lesson; “unprecedented and momentous resistance of Yemenis will set their future as well as that of the region; the international community should seek political solutions for the crisis in Yemen; an insider dialogue where no foreign player would trespass would be the sole path toward stability, peace and mutual understanding in the country,” Shamkhani demanded.

Shamkhani reiterated ‘unconditional support’ of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Yemen against foreign intervention as a human duty and ethical necessity; “piety, independence, and religious affiliations among different tribes and groups should be regarded as factors of success for Yemen against foreign intervention,” he proposed.

The head of Yemeni delegation, for his part, provided the meeting with a report of the latest developments on the field; he also expressed deep gratitude for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s supports and criticized international silence about Saudi Arabian strikes against the country. “As long as Yemenis have weapons, they will continue to resist against intervention and strike,” emphasized Naef Khaef, who leads the delegation. “We are resolved to end the crisis through an all-Yemeni dialogue; we call all countries who seek helping Yemenis to exploit their potentials in ending bloodshed and killing of innocent civilians through political alternatives,” he added.
