Chabahar, Sept 17, IRNA � Director General of Ports and Shipping Organization of Sistan and Baluchestan Province announced a25 percent growth in export from Chabahar Port in the first five months of the Iranian calendar year.

Siavoush Rezvani told IRNA on Thursday that 83,729 tons of goods have been exported from Chabahar in the first five months of the year which in comparison with the same period last year shows a 25 percent increase.

He said that in year 1393 (past year) totally 107,250 tons of goods were exported from Chabahar, while only in the first five months of this year the figure stood at 83,729 tons.

Rezvani added that most of the exported goods were minerals which were shipped to the Persian Gulf Arab states.
