Sari, Mazandaran Prov., Aug 21, IRNA Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Gholam-Ali Rashid, says Israel, enjoying 200 to 400 nuclear bombs, threatens the global community.

Rashid told a meeting, held to commemorate the Missing In Action (MIA) martyrs, that based on reports provided by certain international reliable sources, the Zionist regime of Israel has 200 to 400 nuclear bombs and with so many bombs, it is a threat to the global community.
'Unfortunately, westerners have over recent years used Iran nuclear issue as a pretext to cover up reality and divert the world public opinion from production of bombs and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) by Israel,' said the official.
He said the world community should be well informed of the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program. 'Over recent years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has had all kinds of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Natanz, Fordu, Arak and Parchin sites. What a vain claim the western states have on nuclear inspection!'
He said any change in position of a table or a tableau in Iran nuclear sites is carefully monitored by the IAEA inspectors. 'Have the IAEA inspectors inspected the sites for production of nuclear bombs and Weapons of Mass Destruction in Israel, which has up to 90 percent enrichment?'
He added that western countries and the Zionist regime of Israel allies have over the past 10 years raised hues and cry against the Islamic Republic of Iran, alleging it of access to the nuclear fuel cycle and know-how
