Tehran, July 21, The Iran Project � Along with the development that has begun in the country, women�s employment will rise at least by 5 percent in the near future, saysIran's Minister of Cooperative, Labor and Welfare in the 1st seminar of unknown social and cultural capacities of women workers on Tuesday.

Referring to the two issues of social reality of women and gender-sensitive policy-making, Iran's Minister of Cooperative, Labor and Welfare, Ali Rabiee said if we want to expand the role of women in the development process, we need to raise 5% growth in the area of women�s employment.

Gender-sensitive policy making is one of the significant issues that has been emphasized by Iran's vice-president for women and family affairs, Shahindokht Molaverd who is trying to increase this sensitivity by establishing women associations in this department, he added.

He stated that general conditions of employment will improve in the near future and the conditions of women employment and their associations will develop accordingly.
