Tehran wants the announcement of a final agreement with the P5+1 group of international mediators to be made in the presence of all foreign ministers, including Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, a senior Iranian diplomat told Sputnik.



VIENNA (Sputnik)���The West has been suspecting Iran of�developing nuclear weapons under�the guise of�a civilian program, while Tehran has repeatedly insisted that it is just trying to�meet the country�s growing energy needs.
"For us it will be appropriate if Mr. Lavrov will be here for�a deal. And I think for�him it is important to�be here when the deal is done, if it is done."






The P5+1 group of�negotiators, comprising Russia, the United States, China, France, the United Kingdom and Germany, are trying to�secure a comprehensive deal with�Iran ensuring the peaceful nature of�Tehran's nuclear activities in�exchange for�the lifting of�Western sanctions against�Iran.

Negotiations between�Iran and the P5+1 group have recently been prolonged beyond�the original deadline for�reaching a final agreement, which was set for�June 30.

In April, Tehran and the P5+1 reached a preliminary deal in�the Swiss city of�Lausanne. The Lausanne framework agreement stipulates that Iran cut back its uranium enrichment activities and decrease the number of�centrifuges in�exchange for�sanctions relief.

The Lausanne deal was presented without�the presence of�the Russian foreign minister.
