Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA Interior Ministry senior deputy Hosseinali Amiri said indoor gatherings called for no permissions by his ministry.
He said the gatherings which took place in a covered area had no need to ask for permissions from the Interior Ministry.
However, he added, the governor generals office in each province has to see into details of such events.
About the missions of his ministrys special committees in this regard, he said they will get involved after the events only when there have been any problems during the gatherings.
He noted that provincial committees are responsible for devising the necessary procedures prior to the events.
According to the official, governor generals are the legally in charge of affairs pertaining to security matters of gatherings in provinces.
