Iranian father of communication science dies aged 80
TEHRAN (ISNA)-Professor Kazem Motamed Neajd, known Iranian master in communication studies died on Thursday afternoon at the age of 80.
Dr. Motamed Nejad is considered to be the founder of communication sciences in Iran who revived journalism training considerably in Iran.

Dr. Motamed Nejad was born in 1934 in Birjand, with Bachelor's degree of Judicial discipline from political science and economic school of Tehran University, PHD of political sciences from Paris University, PhD in Journalism from the Institute of Press and News in Paris University and higher diploma of Journalism training from International Centre for Higher Education in Journalism located in Strasburg.

The funeral ceremony of Dr. Motamed Nejad will be held on Saturday at 9 AM from Allame Tabatabei School of communication studies.
