ALEPPO, June 3 (MNA) – Iran’s parliamentary delegation has entered Aleppo for supervising over Syrian presidential elections.
Mehr News political correspondent in Aleppo reports that Khojasteh heads the delegation of Shahin Mohammad Sadeqi, Ashouri, Boroujerdi, Shariati, Betkolia, Khanlari, Khosravi, and Laleh Eftekhari.
Aleppo as a second greatest city of Syria is quiet in the eve of the presidential elections; however, terrorist fighters control 40 per cent of the city.
Delegations from Philipines, Bolivia, Venezuela, Tajikistan, Iran, Zimbabwe, and Uganda also accompany Iranian delegation.
Syrian constitutional court has endorsed the qualification of only three candidates among 24 candidates. Bashar al-Assad, Maher Abdul-Hafiz Hajjar, and Hassan Abdullah al-Nouri are running for office.
