Iranian cineastes invited to Tunisian Intl. Film Festival

Director of Carthage International Film Festival (CFF) in Tunisia has invited the Iranian cineastes to the 2014 edition of the event.
The invitation was dedicated to Iran’s cultural attaché in Tunisia Sadeq Ramzani Golafzani during a meeting with the festival’s director.

Iranian cinema has been represented several times in Tunisian film festivals so far.

The 2012 Carthage International Film Festival presented a particular section for screening Iranian cinematic productions.

Established in 1966, the Carthage Film Festival is a biannual cinematic event hosted by the government of Tunisia.

The 2014 Carthage International Film Festival is scheduled to be held from November 1 to 8, in the Tunisian suburb of Carthage, near the capital city of Tunis.

Meanwhile, Head of Iran’s Cinema Organization Hojatollah Ayoubi  is slated to travel to Tunisia and visit the country’s several cultural officials.

Ayoubi is planning to take part in the opening ceremony of the establishing Tunisia-Iran Friendship Society.
