No gender discrimination accepted: Rouhani

TEHRAN, May 1 (MNA) – Iran’s president in a ceremony commemorating International Labor Day has said no gender discrimination would be accepted in the country regarding services for Iranian workers.
Rouhani attended a ceremony of Iranian workers to commemorate International Labor Day on Thursday and addressed the meeting, congratulating them on the occasion.

He held that the country is proud of achievements by the Iranian labor force in different fields.

Rouhani maintained that all services for the labor force should be distributed justly among both women and men and reiterated that “no gender discrimination would be accepted in the country.”

He emphasized on consuming indigenous products to help the growth of more job opportunities for the Iranian labor force and reduction of foreign products importation.

Rouhani appreciated top Iranian workers on Labor Day ceremony and thanked all Iranian workers for contributing in different fields, developing the country’s industry.
