Nasim—Iran and Nicaragua move ahead to boost economic cooperation in private sectors, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told reporters on Monday.
In a joint press conference with his Nicaraguan counterpart here in Tehran on Monday, April 28, Zarif described “political views” of Tehran and Managua as “close and similar,” adding that both sides aim to improve economic ties.

In a meeting with Iran’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Shamseddin Hosseini in February 2012, Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Samuel Santos Lopez invited Iranian companies to invest in Nicaragua and have a visit of the country for reviewing investment opportunities.
