Senior cleric: Iran committed to continue nuclear activities under NPT

18 Apr 2014 - 15:50

Tehran, April 18, IRNA – Iran is committed to continue its nuclear activates under the Non Proliferation Treaty rules, Tehran?s Interim Friday Prayers Leader Hojjatoeslam Kazem Sedighi said in his Friday prayers sermons.
Iran’s Arak heavy water plant is used for medical and research purposes and Tehran will not dismantle it under any circumstances, he noted.
Tehran Friday prayers leader added that enemies will not ease their pressures even if Tehran meet all their illegal demands in all fields including the nuclear program.

Recent European Parliament anti-Iran resolution proved the fact that they do not have correct understanding of socio-political realities in Iran, the senior cleric said.

He underlined that those so-called western advocates of human rights are misusing the human rights including women?s rights as a political tool against independent states.
