TEHRAN, April 13 (MNA) – Iranian elementary school students will take part in a ‘painting festival’ with the subject of ‘love of animals’ to draw Asiatic cheetah.
Avicenna cultural center, Tehran Municipality, Ministry of Education local office Tehran and some NGOs will take part in the painting festival entitled “Asiatic cheetah, God’s painting” and all elementary school students of Tehran will participate.
To inform the public on Asiatic cheetah and to improve their awareness of this species and to emphasize on its protection, different organizations take part in holding the 1st festival.
The number of ‘Asiatic cheetah’ is now less than 70 around the world and Iran is its only habitat where it is called ‘Iranian cheetah’, a rare species in the world.
