Diplomacy inept to change innate western animosity: Iran Cmdr.

12 Apr 2014 - 14:12

Nasim–A senior Iranian commander said political relations fall short of altering the adverse challenges between Iran and the West given the former’s “intrinsic animosity” towards Iran.
Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Deputy Commander Brig. Gen. Hossein Salami scolded Saturday those who envisage a happy future for the Iranian nation through relating to the West.

“Jihadi and revolutionary thinking are the prominent elements for progress… Resistance, perseverance and careful acting and speaking are the traits our martyrs are known for and we need these the most to progress,” said the commander.

He said assassination of Iranian luminaries and scientists can never stop Iranians’ moving forward, and called on all Iranians to exploit domestic potentials for success and development.

Salami further said that having relations with the West must not be viewed as the path to happiness for the Iranian nation.
