12 Mar 2014 - 22:58

Tehran, March 12, IRNA – A number of Tehran University students staged protest gathering Wednesday near Austrian Embassy to condemn EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton’s meeting with the ‘elements of sedition’.

Some 100 male and female students who are members of Union of Islamic Associations of Independent Students came together near Austrian Embassy to protest Ashton’s secret meetings in Tehran.

Holding placards reading ‘We’re are still alive and not yet dead’ and ‘Ashton, Iran is not Ukraine’, they denounce Ashton’s meetings with security convicts in the capital.

The students also chanted slogans such as ‘Death to US’, ‘Death to Britain’, ‘Death to Israel’ and ‘Death to seditionists’.

The gathering ended after reading a statement condemning the elements of sedition involved in riots against the results of presidential elections in 2009.
