Tabriz, Eastern Azarbaijan prov, March 6, IRNA – A special committee in Azerbaijan is considering lifting visa requirement for Iranian citizens, said the Azeri ambassador to Tehran on Thursday.
Javanshir Akhundov said that given the eagerness of both countries for promotion of ties, Baku is optimistic about the issue in the near future.

He said that removal of visa requirement would benefit both Iran and Azerbaijan.
