Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA – Head of Iran’s Investment and Economic, Technical Assistance Organization said Iran-China Industrial Park will be established, adding that the two countries plan to increase their cooperation in the field of holding exhibitions.
At the 15th meeting of Iran-China joint economic cooperation commission, Behrouz Alishiri said four committees have been formed which are trade and economic cooperation, investment and infra-structure, supplying finance and provincial and regional cooperation.
He said Iran-China trade exchange level is around 14 billion dollars, adding that one of the goals of the meeting is to increase mutual trade relations level to 20 billion dollars.
Alishiri stressed that according to the existing statistics, level of investment of Chinese companies in Iran’s economic plans is around 4.5 billion dollars, which should be increased.
Agreement on facilitating to issue visas for Iranian businessmen, establishment of joint shipping company, agreement to establish joint industrial park, persuading Chinese investors to invest in Iran, exchanging information concerning foreign investment were among important agreements in the meeting, he added.
