Iranian skiers disappointed at Sochi Olympics

The Iranian Olympic team, which consists of five skiers, failed to get good results at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
In the Women's Slalom, Forough Abbasi finished in 48th place with a time of 2 minutes, 35.69 seconds.

Mikaela Shiffrin of the U.S. claimed the gold medal, with a combined time of 1 minute, 44.54 seconds.

Mohammad Kiyadarbandsari (3:02.13) and Hossein Saveh Shemshaki (3:05.22) finished in 51st and 55th places respectively in the Men's Giant Slalom.

The USA’s Ted Ligety won in a two-leg combined time of 2 minutes, 45.29 seconds in this event.

In the Men's 15-Kilometer Classic, Seyed Sattar Seyd finished in 79th place with 47 minutes, 16.1 seconds.

Swiss skier Dario Cologna claimed the gold in 38 minutes, 29.7 seconds.

In the Women's 10km Classic, Farzaneh Rezasoltani finished in 73rd place with a time of 42 minutes, 31.3 seconds.

Poland’s Justyna Kowalczyk won the gold medal with a time of 28 minutes, 17.8 seconds in this event.
