Tehran, Feb 13, IRNA – A senior Iranian official said on Thursday that the first executive committee session of the 9th Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states (PUIC) will be held in the Iranian capital on Friday (February 14).
Advisor to Majlis Speaker for International Affairs Hassan Sheikholeslam said Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani would address the committee’s inaugural ceremony.

He underlined that some 47 countries have so far declared readiness to attend the event.

The 9th meeting of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC member states is to be held in the Iranian capital from February 14-19.
